How to Draw the PiUS
First, draw a rectangle the size you want the Peace in Unity Symbol to be. Make sure that your rectangle has the proportions found in Phi, 1:1.62. See What is Phi? for more details.
Second, draw a diamond inside the rectangle, with each of the diamonds points touching the midpoint of each of the four rectangle sides.
Next, draw a circle nestled nearly to the edge of the diamond. Place a point in the center of the circle to aid you in drawing the spiral.
The spiral is formed by starting at each cardinal direction, North, South, East and West, and from that point on the circle, finding the "radius" between that edge point and the center point. Use that radius to trace the half circles.
The center point of the large circle should be one end point of each half circle. The other end point is directly in-line with the point of each diamond. What results is two overlapping yin-yangs.
The first image at left shows the left handed PiUS indicating deconstruction of the current system to make way for the right handed PiUS, signifying unified action towards the creation of a just world culture of peace and unity.
Finally, color in your Peace in Unity Symbol using the color system laid out at left. See the Design Concept page for further explanation of colors.
